I ·The exhibition
I have devoted my life to exploring and portraying nature through my work.
Iron is my language: every sculpture is an invitation to stop and look at the world, to breathe, to rediscover the beauty of what surrounds us, creating a connection between people and nature. In 2015 I had the chance to show my vision in the exhibition Ad occhi aperti (With Open Eyes), in Montone (Perugia), at the San Fedele Auditorium.
My sculptures were accompanied by white panels, deliberately left blank, which visitors could fill with poems, thoughts and reflections. I wanted to create a living, authentic dialogue between the works and those looking at them. It was an invitation to slow down, to stop for a moment and look around and within, to grasp the realities that too often escape us in the rush of everyday life; an invitation to come in, to take part, to leave a trace of one’s own gaze and presence.
